Volleyball Game Preview: Shadow Ridge Stallions vs. Perry Pumas

The Shadow Ridge Stallions will head out on the road to face off against the Perry Pumas at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Shadow Ridge came up short against Casteel and fell 3-1. While the Stallions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Colts 25-21 in the first set.

Shadow Ridge started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-18, 25-12, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Perry faced Red Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Pumas put the hurt on the Mountain Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Pumas haven't had any issues with the Mountain Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Perry pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Shadow Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.

Shadow Ridge couldn't quite get it done against Perry in their previous matchup back in March as they fell 2-0. Can the Stallions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
