East Mecklenburg came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Providence Panthers 3-0. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Panthers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

East Mecklenburg never let Providence on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Riley Ketterhagen, who had 15 digs and two assists.

East Mecklenburg was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive contests.

East Mecklenburg's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Providence, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Mecklenburg will head out to challenge Sun Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Providence, they will venture away from home to face off against Palisades at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
