Softball Recap: Potomac Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Potomac unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 43-0 to the Oxon Hill Clippers on Wednesday. The Wolverines haven't had much luck with the Clippers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The win keeps Oxon Hill at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potomac will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Crossland at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Oxon Hill, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Surrattsville at 4:30 p.m.
