Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Warren

Warren entered their tilt with Stevens on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 back in February.

Jenna Bonilla and Celi Flores did most of the damage at the plate: Bonilla went a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one double, while Flores went 1-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Flores has been hot recently, having also posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Audrina Rivera was another key player, earning one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Warren was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They are 10-2 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Warren back to even at 12-12. As for Stevens, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Warren is set to face off against their familiar foe Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Stevens will take on rival Sotomayor at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
