The biggest upset of the week belonged to R.A. Hubbard, who took down 264th ranked R.A. Hubbard, 47-22. Dylan Gallaway threw for 51 yards and one touchdown and ran for 164 yards in the win.
Rodney Camp and Tyler Crumpton provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Vina. The connection was good for 64 yards, the longest such play in 1A Region 8 this season.
Phillips's dynamic duo of Camp and Crumpton proved tough for the Red Devils to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Camp threw for 351 yards and four touchdowns and Crumpton had 284 yards receiving. Jonathan Long helped Phillips' passing attack out by catching four balls for 61 yards.
Phillips' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bears feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Camp has thrown for 1043 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Crumpton has 29 catches for 649 yards. Camp also leads the league in rushing with 476 yards.
Hackleburg moved up to 216 from 283 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 47-22 win over the Chiefs helped the Panthers improve their standing.
