Football Recap: Summit's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Summit walked away with it. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 57-10 victory over the Gresham Gophers. Considering the Storm have won seven matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win keeps Summit at an undefeated 10-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.2 points on average this season. As for Gresham, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4.

Coming up, Summit will face off against West Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Storm will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. Gresham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
