Basketball Recap: Veritas Academy Takes a Loss

Veritas Academy was the 65-35 winner over Austin Waldorf when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Veritas Academy lost 58-36 to the Austin Waldorf Roadrunners on Tuesday. Veritas Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured four defeats in a row.

Veritas Academy's record now sits at 4-8. As for Austin Waldorf, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Veritas Academy and Hill Country Christian School of Austin will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Austin Waldorf, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hill Country Christian at 1:30 p.m. on December 31st. Austin Waldorf is facing Hill Country Christian at the right time seeing as Hill Country Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
