Fruita Monument had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Green Mountain Rams by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their offense was headlined by Cambelle Brammer and Sophie Emerson, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Parker Clarke and her 26 assists.

Fruita Monument's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Green Mountain, they moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Fruita Monument and Green Mountain will both be playing Northfield the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Nighthawks at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Rams will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
