Gray Collegiate Academy skates past Legion Collegiate Academy with ease

The Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 92-49 victory over Legion Collegiate Academy. Winning may never get old, but Gray Collegiate Academy sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Leading Gray Collegiate Academy to victory were Treyvon Maddox and Darius Carr. Maddox scored 22 points, while Carr dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Carr has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Gerald, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.

Gray Collegiate Academy pushed their record up to 19-5 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.7 points per game. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Gray Collegiate Academy will play host again and welcome Eau Claire, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Eau Claire will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 196th, while Gray Collegiate Academy is ranked sixth). Legion Collegiate Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Providence Classical at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
