It was a good run, but Trinity unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 58-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saint Ignatius College Prep Wolfpack. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Wolfpack are ranked fifth).

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.

Trinity will be playing at home against Payton College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saint Ignatius College Prep, they will challenge Loyola Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Loyola Academy comes in on 22 and Saint Ignatius College Prep on 11.
