Baseball Recap: Hillsboro Beats Central for Their Fourth Straight Win

Hillsboro waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Central Rebels. That's more bragging rights for the Hawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aidan Roland was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Max Partney was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Hillsboro's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-10. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Central, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Hillsboro will take on Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
