It was a good run, but Trinity unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Southlake Carroll Dragons, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Southlake Carroll, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Trinity will take on rival Byron Nelson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southlake Carroll is set to challenge their familiar foe Timber Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
