With a playoff win on the line, Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic rose to the challenge on Saturday. They never let the Archbishop Ryan Raiders and Ragdolls get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The Friars/Pandas might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Michael Klawansky tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Sergio Hernandez was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Ryan Friel, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

The victory was the third in a row for Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic, bringing their record up to 17-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Archbishop Ryan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8.

As of now, neither Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic nor the Raiders and Ragdolls have any future games scheduled.
