Basketball Recap: Baldwin County Takes a Loss

Baldwin County lost against Saraland back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Baldwin County Tigers came up short against the Saraland Spartans, falling 61-36. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 203rd, while the Spartans are ranked 82nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Baldwin County and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for Saraland, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Baldwin County is taking a road trip to challenge Elberta at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saraland, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against St. Michael Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
