Basketball Recap: Barker Takes a Loss

Barker saw some tournament action on Monday. They lost 67-42 to the Finney Falcons.

When it comes to explaining why Barker lost, don't look at Anthony Taliaferro. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Murrell, who posted nine points and three steals.

Even though they lost, Barker smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Barker's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Finney, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Barker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 77-46 defeat against Albion on the 3rd. Finney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
