Sheyenne has gone a perfect 5-0 against Fargo South recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home field against the Bruins at 4:30 p.m. Sheyenne has given up an average of 10.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sheyenne came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 19-4 to Horace.

Meanwhile, Fargo South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Fargo.

Ashlyn Thorsness and Mea Nylander did some serious damage despite the final result: Thorsness scored a run while going 3-for-4, while Nylander scored a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Klein, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Sheyenne's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Fargo South, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Sheyenne's way against Fargo South when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Sheyenne made off with a 14-1 victory. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bruins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
