Basketball Recap: North Charleston Takes a Loss

North Charleston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks 65-18. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Landsharks are ranked 52nd).

North Charleston's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-5.

North Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oceanside Collegiate Academy, they will take on Hanahan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
