Vincennes Lincoln has gone a perfect 3-0 against Sullivan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Alices will face off against the Golden Arrows at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Vincennes Lincoln 2.7, Sullivan 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Vincennes Lincoln will bounce into Friday's match after beating Evansville Memorial, who they had gone 1-7 against in their eight prior meetings. The Alices sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over the Tigers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Alices have posted against the Tigers since June 1, 2019.

Cooper Collins was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted over his last 12 contests.

Meanwhile, Sullivan waltzed into their game on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They had just enough and edged out the Vikings 3-1. That's two games straight that the Golden Arrows have won by exactly two runs.

Sullivan pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Vincennes Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 14-5.

Vincennes Lincoln skirted past Sullivan 4-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Alices since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
