Baseball Recap: Comstock Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Comstock's offense. They came up short against the Pennfield Panthers on Monday, falling 17-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Colts' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Comstock's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-14. As for Pennfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

While Comstock had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
