Basketball Recap: Mooseheart Piles Up the Points Against Trinity Oaks Christian Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crossroads Christian, Mooseheart was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They breezed past the Trinity Oaks Christian Academy Huskies to the tune of 72-37. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Mooseheart to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nishi Amos, who went 8-for-13 on his way to 17 points in addition to six assists and three steals. Amos has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Oluwatosin Isola was another key player, dropping a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

Amos wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Mooseheart was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Mooseheart's win bumped their record up to 7-19. As for Trinity Oaks Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Mooseheart will head out on the road to square off against Islamic Foundation at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity Oaks Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
