Volleyball Recap: McLaughlin Comes Up Short

McLaughlin lost against Gettysburg back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs lost 3-0 to the Battlers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McLaughlin was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-10.

McLaughlin's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Gettysburg, they moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McLaughlin will take on Timber Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Gettysburg, they will challenge Faith at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
