Volleyball Recap: Lycee Francais de Chicago Takes a Loss

Lycee Francais de Chicago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Waldorf Thunder. Lycee Francais de Chicago was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Waldorf earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Lycee Francais de Chicago sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-20, 17-25, 25-19.

Lycee Francais de Chicago's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Waldorf, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 5-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lycee Francais de Chicago is set to face off against their familiar foe Christian Heritage Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Waldorf will challenge rival Beacon Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
