Soccer Recap: Sparks Falls to Fernley in First Game of Season

Sparks kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 9-0 to the Fernley Vaqueros. Sparks have struggled against Fernley recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The win was the third in a row for Fernley, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sparks will host Churchill County at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fernley, they will be playing at home against Incline at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
