Softball Game Preview: Greater Johnstown Trojans vs. Richland Rams

The Greater Johnstown Trojans will square off against the Richland Rams at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Greater Johnstown is looking for their season's first victory.

Greater Johnstown fell victim to Central Cambria and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 15-0 to the Red Devils.

Meanwhile, Richland came up short against Chestnut Ridge on Wednesday, falling 9-3. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Addy Matejovich made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophie Burke, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Greater Johnstown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Richland, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
