Basketball Recap: Macarthur's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

MacArthur won the last time they faced Lincoln and things went their way on Friday too. The MacArthur Generals walked away with a 42-33 win over the Lincoln Railsplitters. The victory was nothing new for the Generals as they're now sitting on four straight.

Lincoln's loss came despite strong showings from Karson Komnick and Drew Hayes. Komnick posted 11 points, while Hayes put up eight points.

MacArthur's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points over those games. As for Lincoln, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-9.

Looking ahead, MacArthur and Alton will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Lincoln, they will challenge Prairie Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
