Volleyball Recap: Flowery Branch Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Flowery Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the East Forsyth Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-9.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Forsyth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mataya Orth, who had four aces and three assists. That's the most aces Orth has posted over her last 11 contests.

Flowery Branch's record now sits at 15-19. As for East Forsyth, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.

Coincidentally, Flowery Branch and East Forsyth will both be playing North Oconee the next time they take the court. The Broncos will head out to face the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
