Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Jordan

Jordan had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Green Level Gators 11-9. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sidney Sharp was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Sydney Cornwell, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Jordan's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Green Level, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan will take on Leesville Road at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Jordan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.4 runs per game this season. As for Green Level, they will challenge Apex at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The contest will give Green Level their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
