Softball Recap: Braxton County Takes a Loss

Braxton County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-0 to the Ravenswood Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 back in March.

Braxton County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Ravenswood, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season.

Braxton County will square off against Poca at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ravenswood, they will take on Washington at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots' pitching crew has only allowed 1.9 runs per game this season, so the Red Devils' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
