Pearl has gone 6-1 against Germantown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates will head out to square off against the Mavericks at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Pearl took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They walked away with a 57-47 victory over West Lauderdale.

Meanwhile, Germantown put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Jackson Prep as they made off with a 61-40 win.

Germantown's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Pearl, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Pearl lost to Germantown on the road by a decisive 81-64 margin in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
