After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Annapolis Area Christian, Archbishop Spalding was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings 3-0. For the Cavaliers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

One reason for the win was Archbishop Spalding's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-17.

The win got Archbishop Spalding back to even at 2-2. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
