Football Game Preview: Penn Cambria Panthers vs. Brockway Rovers + How To Watch

The Penn Cambria Panthers will face off against the Brockway Rovers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Penn Cambria faced off against Huntingdon on Friday. The Panthers really took it to the Bearcats for the full four quarters, racking up a 33-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won nine contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Penn Cambria's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brady Jones, who threw for 143 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 63 yards. What's more, Jones racked up 154.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Blake Lilly was in the mix as well, providing Penn Cambria with two scores.

Penn Cambria didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lilly and Evan Latterner. Another thorn in Huntingdon's side was Corbin Vinglish, who forced one fumble and made 16 total tackles (1.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Brockway beat St. Marys 31-26 last Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Rovers in their matchups with the Flying Dutch: they've now won three in a row.

Brockway's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Penn Cambria, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
