Basketball Recap: Hodgeman County Takes a Loss

Hodgeman County suffered their biggest defeat since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They were beaten by the South Central Timberwolves 58-31. The Longhorns were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-13.

Several Longhorns players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kendall Burns, who posted three points and six steals. Those six steals gave Burns a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hazen Rydquist, who earned 11 points.

Hodgeman County's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for South Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

As of now, neither Hodgeman County nor South Central have any future games scheduled.
