Volleyball Game Preview: Spring-Ford Rams vs. Dock Mennonite Pioneers

The Spring-Ford Rams will take on the Dock Mennonite Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring-Ford will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Spring-Ford proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Haverford 3-2.

Spring-Ford was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-17, 22-25, 25-22, 15-4.

Dawson Beccaria was a one-man wrecking crew as he had 18 digs and two aces. What's more, he posted four assists, the most he's had over his last seven games.

Meanwhile, Dock Mennonite came up short against Downingtown East last Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20.

Spring-Ford's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. As for Dock Mennonite, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Spring-Ford took their win against Dock Mennonite when the teams last played on April 1st by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Pioneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
