Preview: Fredericksburg Christian Eagles vs. Trinity Christian Gryphons
The Fredericksburg Christian Eagles will be playing at home against the Trinity Christian Gryphons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Fredericksburg Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Southern Maryland Christian Academy, but they still walked away with a 55-51 victory.
Noah Caesar was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with seven rebounds. Caesar is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Christan Smith was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists.
Meanwhile, Trinity Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 65-43 margin over Chelsea Academy. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Trinity Christian has posted yet this season.
Fredericksburg Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Trinity Christian, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Fredericksburg Christian strolled past Trinity Christian in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 60-41. Does Fredericksburg Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Trinity Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
