The Ropes Eagles are on the road again on Saturday to play the Post Antelopes at 12:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Last Tuesday, it was close, but Ropes sidestepped Olton for a 3-2 win.

Ropes was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (103-98), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-20, 25-23, 16-25, 15-10.

Ropes found their leader in underclassman Vivian Gallegos, who had 14 digs and three aces. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Gallegos.

Meanwhile, Post waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged the Bulldogs out 3-2.

Post got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 30-28, 22-25, 25-22, 21-25, 15-12.

Ropes has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-12 record this season. As for Post, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.

Ropes took their win against Post in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ropes since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
