Lumberton came tearing into Tuesday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.1 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Silsbee Tigers as they made off with a 7-0 victory. The Raiders' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last eight contests.

Their offense was hitting Silsbee from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Tessa Christopherson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Lumberton pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Silsbee, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
