Cape Coral waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Oasis Sharks 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Seahawks, who have now won 14 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Emma Brannan made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

In other batting news, Gabriela Gonzalez was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. Mya Ramirez was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Cape Coral was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oasis only posted a batting average of .286.

Cape Coral pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Oasis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

As of now, neither Cape Coral nor the Sharks have any future games scheduled.
