Baseball Recap: Williamsville East Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Williamsville East, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Williamsville South Billies on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Flames: when they faced off against the Billies on Wednesday, they had to take a 5-1 defeat.

Williamsville East got a great performance from Jaxson Lichner as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Williamsville East's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Noah Hoffman, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
