A-6 Southeast (6 Man) recap November 5, 2013

Adding to the longest winning streak in A-6 Southeast (6 Man) this week, Liberty/Stratton beat Flagler 54-6. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.

Liberty/Stratton took down the Panthers 54-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kyle English ran for 135 yards during the win.

Eads's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Rouse threw for 154 and 3 touchdowns and Blaine Winder had 81 yards receiving. On the ground Dylan Dixon chipped in 264 yards. Caden Parker helped Eads' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 73 yards.

The Eagles' dynamic duo of Rouse and Winder proved to be unstoppable against Peetz, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Parker helped Eads' passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 73 yards.

Dixon was a force in the backfield as Eads bested the Bulldogs.

Dixon provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Dustin Uhland's team defeated Peetz. Dixon's favorite target this week was Winder, who caught 5 passes for 81 yards.

Rouse made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Eagles beat Scott Sorensen's team. He grabbed 1 sacks.

He went 7-8 with 0 interceptions.

5-foot-8 quarterback David Mettee of Deer Trail is the league leader in passing yards this season with 824. He has also thrown 10 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jaxon Crawford. The Kit Carson star has 36 catches for 486 yards.

Dixon of the Eads is just 59 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 77 carries Dixon has put up 941 yards this year.

The Eagles made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 188 from 262. The advance stemmed from a 64-36 victory over the Bulldogs last week.
