Soccer Recap: No Winner in Topsail's First Game

Topsail kicked off their season on Wednesday but they'll have to wait until their next contest for a more definitive result. Neither they nor the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The outcome might've been different if Wyatt Kajut hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited his ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Topsail wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against Wake Forest on the 15th. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they will square off against East Duplin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
