Basketball Recap: Echo Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Enterprise, Echo was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-40 win over the Wallowa Cougars. Echo has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Wallowa, too.

Echo's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Wallowa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Echo Cougars face off against the Imbler Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wallowa, they will square off against Powder Valley at 9:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wallowa is facing Powder Valley at the right time seeing as Powder Valley is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
