Basketball Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

Holy Cross lost against Dixie Heights back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Holy Cross Indians fell to the Dixie Heights Colonels 64-59. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Dixie Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 17 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Cross won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Highlands at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Highlands' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Dixie Heights, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Covington Catholic at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
