Wakefield and Heritage are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Wakefield Wolverines will venture away from home to challenge the Heritage Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wakefield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Heritage likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Wakefield came up short against Knightdale and fell 76-66. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Knights are ranked 50th).

Meanwhile, Heritage was able to grind out a solid win over Rolesville on Tuesday, taking the game 60-51.

Wakefield has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Heritage, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Wakefield came up short against Heritage in their previous meeting back in January, falling 59-52. Can Wakefield avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
