Saguaro had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Dysart Demons by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. Given the Sabercats' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Demons are ranked 85th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Henry Wurth was the driving force of Saguaro's attack as he scored both of Saguaro's goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Saguaro's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Dysart, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Coming up, Saguaro will face off against Westview at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Saguaro is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. Dysart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
