Softball Recap: Warren Warriors vs. Southwest Legacy Titans

After only one run in their last matchup, Warren made sure to put some runs up on the board against Southwest Legacy on Friday. The Warren Warriors came out on top against the Southwest Legacy Titans by a score of 15-10. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won three in a row.

Miley Vinton was incredible, firing off three home runs, nine RBI, and five runs while going 5-for-5. Those nine RBI gave her a new career-high. Alyana Ramirez was another key player, scoring four runs while going 3-for-5.

Warren hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Southwest Legacy struck out seven times.

Warren picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-7. As for Southwest Legacy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Coming up, Warren will take on Sotomayor at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Sotomayor knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Warren likes a good challenge. As for Southwest Legacy, they will challenge McCollum at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. McCollum's pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Southwest Legacy's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
