Volleyball Recap: Irondale Takes a Loss

Irondale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Spectrum Sting. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Sting apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Irondale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Spectrum, they pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Irondale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fridley on the 27th. As for Spectrum, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Robbinsdale Cooper on the 27th.
