Football Recap: Turner County Comes Up Short on the Road Against Worth County + How To Watch

Turner County had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Worth County Rams. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Travian King threw for 137 yards on seven of 14 attempts. Imerriun Carridine was his top target, picking up 48 receiving yards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Worth County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaden Chester, who rushed for 145 yards and two scores on only six carries. Another rusher making a difference was Treshaun Jones, who rushed for 118 yards and one TD on only nine carries.

Looking ahead, Turner County will venture away from home to square off against Tiftarea Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Worth County, they will host Irwin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
