Volleyball Recap: Chicago Marshall Comes Up Short

Chicago Marshall entered their match against Intrinsic on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Commandos fell 2-0 to the Mustangs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Commandos of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20.

Chicago Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Intrinsic, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chicago Marshall is set to face off against their familiar foe Marine Leadership Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Intrinsic will square off against rival Chicago Sullivan at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
