Baseball Game Preview: Irvington Vikings vs. Mission San Jose Warriors

While Irvington's win against Mission San Jose wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Irvington had just enough and edged out Mission San Jose 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won four in a row.

Irvington got a great performance from Devin Patel as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched. Patel has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
