Volleyball Recap: Johns Creek's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Johns Creek entered their tilt with Dawson County on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Johns Creek was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-7.

Johns Creek found their leader in sophomore Evelyn Sinotte, who had ten digs and two aces.

Johns Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 11 aces in three consecutive matches.

Johns Creek's victory bumped their record up to 16-9. As for Dawson County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-14.

Coincidentally, Johns Creek and Dawson County will both be playing St. Francis the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Gladiators will play them later in the day, at 7:15 p.m.
